Open Letter to Residents of Kawartha Lakes

Today we helped publish an open letter to the residents of Kawartha Lakes on behalf of 15 charities recognizing that we have an enormous opportunity facing our city.

Ontario is generously distributing $200 relief cheques to eligible citizens and their children under 18 years. While there are many who need the $200 Ontario relief, there are also many who can donate to ensure a stronger charitable sector in the Kawartha Lakes. 

Times are tough – this is needed, and it can make a big difference to the Kawartha Lakes.  

Like any charity, we rely on the generous support of community partners. Consider supporting our organization’s work directly so our teams can continue to nurture the community, facilitate grants, manage funds and scholarships, work with other organizations, making the Kawartha Lakes a thriving place to live for all.
