Announcing Our New Board Member: Justin Broomfield

We are thrilled to welcome Justin Broomfield to our board of directors! With a robust background in both non-profit sectors and legal expertise, Justin is poised to make significant contributions to our organization.

Justin graduated in 2023 from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, receiving his Juris Doctor degree. He was called to the Bar in Nova Scotia in 2024, before returning home to be called to the Bar in Ontario. During his time in Halifax, Justin honed his legal skills at the initio Technology and Innovation Law Clinic, where he supported the Atlantic Canadian entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing low-cost legal services to individuals who could not afford a lawyer.

Currently, Justin is with WARDS LAWYERS PC, where he passionately assists entrepreneurs, early-stage businesses, and not-for-profits in their growth and success. His expanding expertise in corporate and commercial law will be invaluable as we strive to navigate and enhance our initiatives.
