Since the fall of 2019, the Community Foundation of Kawartha Lakes has built a strong basis for tremendous contribution to community giving and philanthropy in Kawartha Lakes. Propelled into high gear in March 2020 with the pandemic, the Bobcaygeon and Area COVID-19 Relief Fund was created with the support of local advisory of concerned citizens, seeking to relieve the sudden frightening stress felt by many in the community of Bobcaygeon.
Since then, over 10 new Funds have been established, all with unique goals and intentions, all seeking to give back to their communities through a multitude of shared objectives within the Foundation pillars of community, environment, arts & culture, education and health.
Now poised for continued and sustainable growth, the Foundation Board is seeking to hire an Executive Director who is both creative and passionate. As a keen team player, this new leader will develop strong partnerships of purpose by connecting people, projects and philanthropy. This opportunity will offer not only a tremendous career but will present an amazing experience in community philanthropy.
This is an exciting opportunity for the ideal candidate to join the Community Foundation, to develop and expand its capacity, and to ensure its long-term stability and social commitment for years to come. The Community Foundation of Kawartha Lakes invites applicants with an interest in joining a growing organization focused on developing new opportunities for local philanthropic prospects and play a significant role in its growth and success.
