Launched on May 19, 2020, the Community Foundation of Kawartha Lakes invested $136,400 in Round 1 of the ECSF towards local Kawartha Lakes charities and qualified donees supporting populations experiencing heightened vulnerability during the COVID-19 Crisis. This fund was intended to support local charities responding to COVID-19 in partnership with Community Foundations of Canada, United Way Centraide Canada and the Canadian Red Cross.
