100 Men Who Care Kawartha Lakes FUND
The 100 Men Who Care Kawartha Lakes FUND supports the charitable activities of the 100 Men Who Care Kawartha Lakes, a group of people who come together to pool their donations and make a bigger difference for local charities.
How did this come about?
A member of 100 Men Who Care KL recommended our involvement to help make the quarterly giving simpler, now that the organization is more than 100 men. The Community Foundation of Kawartha Lakes will be assisting with some of the financial and administrative parts related to donation collection, tax receipting and funds management. This means the receiving charities are no longer burdened with the administrative effort and cost of writing and sending out 150+ tax receipts.
This type of collaboration isn’t new. Many Community Foundations across Canada have relationships with 100 Who Care organizations to help facilitate local giving circle donation streams to charities. We are pleased to explore this with 100 Men Who Care Kawartha Lakes.
